Combination hunt, two animals --Whitetail and Mule deer, or

If you are looking to hunt trophy Whitetails or Mule Deer you have come to the right place! This area of Alberta continues to fill the record books with big deer year after year. Our Whitetail Deer Hunt takes place in the Slave Lake district of North Central Alberta in a mixture of farm fields, heavy timber, old log-offs, and oil exploration trails.

We start our Deer Hunts with our early season Archery hunts in mid October.

The last Saturday in October we start our rifle hunts for Deer and late season Moose and run to the end of the season which is approximately December 1st. The weather at this time may run from +40 °F to -O °F so a variation of clothing and hunting techniques are required. This hunt is scheduled at this time to take advantage of the rut which is at its peak this time of year.  

One option for our Whitetail Hunts is out of our beautiful modern lodge. Known affectionately as the NWO Ranch, accommodations include 2 hunters per room with twin beds, shower and washroom facilities, and two large comfortable social rooms in addition to a pool table, satellite TV’s, and a jacuzzi, for your convenience. Meals are prepared by our chef and staff, and are guaranteed to satisfy the hungriest hunter with a variety of meals.

Another option for our Whitetail Hunts is our Northern camp where you will experience comfortable lodging and fine dining out of our outpost camp.

Many of our hard core Whitetail hunters have come to hunt with us year after year and with this persistence seems to come bigger and better trophies as the willingness and patience of the hunter to wait out the real big boys increases.

• Hunter Opportunity - 100%
• Success Kills - 95%
• Trophy Bucks - SCI /  B & C / - 35%        P&Y - 80%

 Hunters typically arrive and depart each Sunday, meeting at the Edmonton Airport at roughly noontime.
